Vulvar lichen sclerosus (VLS) belongs to the group of autoimmune, chronic inflammatory skin disorders and is most frequent in females after their 50s. This disease might lead vulvar scarring, sexual dysfunction neoplasm transformation. For that reason, treatment VLS still considered an important clinical issue from borderline gynaecology dermatology. Classical includes use corticosteroids, which help relieve symptoms, prevent further scarring vulva, reduce inflammation risk malignant Due resistance some patients local its complications, however, fractional CO2 lasers has been proposed. A 41-year-old female patient presented a gynaecologist with symptoms such as itching, burning, cracking vulva skin. tissue sample was taken affected area histopathological examination confirmed initial diagnosis. Treatment topical glucocorticosteroids applied, but no improvement noticed. laser applied therapy complementary form glucocorticosteroids. After 1.5 years, regression lesions on observed. case report highlight effectiveness fractioned resistant glucocorticosteroid monotherapy.
